These chicken burgers have less calories than beef, and are just as yummy!
Ingredients:
2 tbsp olive oil
1/4 cup finely minced onion
2 tsp finely minced garlic
1 lb. 94 percent fat-free ground chicken
1/4 cup shredded low fat cheese
2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp paprika
sprinkle of salt and pepper
Instructions:
Preheat a cast iron skillet on medium to medium-high heat.
Mix all the ingredients in a bowl, being careful not to overwork it.
Form into 4 - 6 patties. Depending on desired thickness.
Add the oil to the pan, and when it is hot, add the burgers.
Cook for 4-6 minutes each side, or until done.
Place on paper towels to help with any excess grease.
Add burger toppings of choice. We like to use tomatoes, pickles, onions, and sometimes a fried egg white!
Add your conidments! We use a special blend of light mayo, sugar free ketchup and mustard.
Wrap in lettuce leaves for a nice healthy crunch, and way lower carbs and calories than traditional buns!
Enjoy!
